What is The Pengrad Wave?
The Wave is more than a community. It is a deliberate system designed to develop young people, nurture responsible citizens, and drive innovation that impacts society and the economy.
At Pengrad, we understand that real transformation is structured, intentional, and continuous. The Wave is built on this principle, providing a clear pathway for youths to grow, lead, and innovate.
The Wave operates through three core pillars:
- EFNO (Every Friday Night on The Wave) – Focuses on personal and career development, equipping young people with the skills, mindset, and discipline to thrive.
- Nation-Building Series (NBS) – Cultivates civic responsibility, leadership, and conscious citizenship, helping members become active contributors to society.
- TWIIS (The Wave Innovation & Invention Showcase) – Drives innovation, enterprise, and economic contribution by helping youths turn ideas into impactful solutions.
Together, these pillars form a pipeline that transforms potential into results. The Wave is not just about learning; it is about building a generation of leaders, builders, and innovators ready to shape Africa’s future.

EFNO
Every Friday Night on The Wave. This is our weekly space for personal and career development, where members gain skills, learn leadership principles, and grow as professionals who can thrive in their workplaces and beyond.
NBS
Nation-Building Series, where we focus on civic consciousness, leadership, and responsibility. One central session of each series is the Nation-Building Dialogue, where five distinguished individuals, called The Assembly, are selected to represent sectors relevant to that edition’s theme. Loyalty and responsibility grow when people are connected to something bigger than themselves, when they are rooted in ideas and values. By discussing these issues, educating young people, and creating spaces for reflection and action, The Wave helps raise a generation of young patriots who are rooted in building a greater nation. People who won’t exchange good for money and won’t only think about society during election season.
TWIIS
The Wave Innovation & Invention Showcase, where we identify, support, and empower innovators, inventors, and creators to turn their ideas into reality. This pillar ensures that The Wave isn’t just about discussion, it’s about action, creation, and tangible impact.

TWIIS Ignite 2026
TWIIS Ignite 2026 is the preliminary phase of TWIIS 2027 — starting with a call for innovators in May, and culminating in a December gathering to refine ideas and prepare for the main showcase.
TWIIS Ignite 2026 is the discovery and activation phase of the Wave Innovation & Invention Showcase (TWIIS 2027).
It begins with a call for innovators and inventors across Africa in May 2026, identifying bold ideas and promising talents working to solve real-world problems.
In December 2026, selected participants will come together to connect, refine their ideas, and prepare for the main showcase.
This is where ideas are found, voices are amplified, and the journey to TWIIS 2027 begins.
Nation Building Series 2026 (NBS 2)
Nation Building Series 2026 (NBS) returns for its second edition following the success of its inaugural event, which brought together bold minds and sparked meaningful conversations around the future of our nation.
This November 2026, The Wave will once again convene young leaders, thinkers, and professionals for a powerful dialogue focused on real solutions and collective progress.
At the heart of the series is The Assembly — a dynamic panel of five voices representing key sectors, engaging in insightful, honest, and solution-driven conversations on the issues shaping our society today. Through this dialogue, perspectives are challenged, ideas are refined, and actionable insights are shared.
The impact goes beyond the conversation. It inspires a shift in thinking, ignites responsibility, and empowers participants to see themselves as active contributors to nation building.
